With our personalized service and ongoing support, you’ll be adequately protected and can put your focus back on providing a safe and enriching learning environment for your students.
Note that Borislow offers AISNE Member Schools the flexibility to work on all of the highlighted benefit options below, which may include benefits that fall outside of the specific AISNE Benefit Program.
Medical, Dental and Vision Plan Offerings
Medical
Although the AISNE Benefits Program does not specifically offer medical insurance, you can work with the Borislow team to design and implement a plan best fit for your school’s unique needs! From traditional HMO plans, to Consumer Driven Health Plans (CDHPs), to Captivated Health, we’ll make sure to deliver on affordability, access, and value.
Dental
AISNE dental offerings are in partnership with Delta Dental Plan of Massachusetts. Your school can choose to offer one of three plan designs – two plans where the school contributes towards the premium and a third option that is fully paid by the employee. You have the choice of what plan is right for your school. These programs effectively balance cost and benefits and are competitively priced. Through the AISNE member school offering schools have enjoyed less than a 1% average increase over the past 8 years.
Vision
AISNE offers a vision plan through Blue 20/20 that utilizes the VSP network of providers, the country’s leading vision carrier. The plan offers rich benefits with the national VSP network. This plan offering is a voluntary benefit and premium is 100% paid by the employee. With the AISNE partnership there is no mininum participation requirement.
Deductible Funding Arrangements / Reimbursement Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are a type of Deductible Funding Arrangement that allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars from their paycheck to pay for eligible healthcare expenses. These accounts are often offered as part of an employee benefits package and can be used for a variety of healthcare expenses, including copayments, deductibles, and prescription drugs.
Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) are another type of Deductible Funding Arrangement that employers can offer as part of their benefits package. These accounts are funded entirely by the employer and can be used to reimburse employees for eligible healthcare expenses. HRAs can be designed to cover a wide range of expenses, including deductibles, copayments, and prescription drugs.
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are a type of Deductible Funding Arrangement that allows individuals to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses. HSAs are typically used in conjunction with a high-deductible health plan and offer individuals a way to save money on healthcare expenses while also enjoying tax benefits. HSAs can be used to pay for a variety of healthcare expenses, including deductibles, copayments, and prescription drugs.
BI has been successful in negotiating competitive administrative fees with third party administrators that have strong Customer Service for your faculty and staff.
Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Key Person
Group Disability and Life Insurance
AISNE offers competitive group disability and life programs through Mutual of Omaha. Each school is permitted to choose the “right” plan design for their school to meet the unique needs of its faculty and staff.
Let Borislow Insurance evaluate your disability and life benefits with Mutual of Omaha and you can expect to receive a stronger contract and a minimum of 10% savings on your premium!
Supplemental Life and Disability Insurance
AISNE allows faculty and staff to purchase additional life and disability insur-ance for themselves and their dependents. These programs are offered on a payroll deduction basis and include competitive pricing with group discounts.
Key Person Life Insurance
AISNE offers life insurance protection for essential school personnel (head of school, business manager, etc.) to protect your school in the event of an untimely death. The proceeds from the life insurance policy can provide immediate liquidity and time for the grieving process, transition plans, and school stability.
Benchmarking, Cost & Utilization Analysis
Benchmarking
BI has an extensive list of independent school clients which uniquely positions us to provide aggregate information on plan design offerings, premium contribution, funding of an HRA/HSA. This allows you the opportunity to see how your peer schools are contributing towards the health plan.
Healthcare Cost and Utilization Analysis & Reporting
BI continually monitors claims, cost and utilization data from the health insurance carriers to identify trends and develop solutions for your schools specific challenges. Your school will receive periodic reports from BI specific to the health insurance carrier that you are enrolled with so you can get a fundamental understanding of your schools health risk issues and claim cost drivers. (Note that minimum enrollment numbers do apply).

AISNE schools understand that compliance requirements are complicated, important and continue to grow with new federal and state regulations. BI provides up-to-date information to keep you informed in a variety of ways:
