David A. Shore joined Borislow Insurance (BI) in December 2010 as Vice President, Employee Benefits Practice Leader. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction and development of group sales, retention, client service and renewals. David works closely with his team to develop and design employee benefit programs that meet our clients’ unique goals, objectives and challenges.
David joined BI from The Protector Group Insurance Agency, where he served in the dual role of Vice President of Sales and Leader of the Employee Benefits Underwriting Practice. He also spent four years with William Gallagher Associates (WGA), an insurance brokerage and consulting firm located in Boston where he was an Assistant Vice President of Sales and Service for WGA’s Employee Benefits Practice. After completing his BBA at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, David began his benefits career in 1998 as a Sales Executive in the Boston office of Great-West Life & Annuity, where he specialized in the design of employer sponsored, self-insured health insurance programs, as well as employer sponsored retirement products, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Benefits Selling Magazine selected David as a Finalist for Broker of the Year in May of 2010. He is quoted and published regionally and nationally in the Boston Business Journal, Worcester Business Journal, Employee Benefits Advisor, and Employee Benefit News and he has been a featured speaker on National and Massachusetts Health Care Reform. Additionally, David has appeared as a healthcare reform expert on Boston’s Fox25News.
David is a graduate of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a devoted father of one son, Devon Parker. He is a board member, State Legislative Chair, and President-Elect at the Massachusetts Association of Health Underwriters. David serves on various insurance company advisory boards, as well as the Massachusetts Health Insurance Connector (“The Exchange”) Broker Advisory Council. John has the designated status of Preferred Broker with the health insurance carriers and has been appointed a seat on several Broker Advisory Councils of insurance carriers and third party administrators. His principled ethic is utilized to further our personal relationships with our loyal and prominent clientele. As Executive Vice President, Sales & Services, his responsibilities are to partner with Jennifer and Mark on client relationship building, continuous implementation of the company’s strategic business plan, and providing project leadership to the staff on all initiatives. | Carol brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance and employee benefits field from both the carrier and client levels. Carol began her career at BCBS of MA where she was selected for positions of increasing responsibility in maintaining relationships with key accounts. After leaving BCBS she worked as a health insurance consultant at Crosby Benefit Systems where she strategically partnered with select industries to manage and streamline complicated multi state benefit programs. She then partnered with United Benefit Services to increase her client base and strategic partnerships with local and multi state employers in varying industries. As the Director of Independent Schools, Susan's goal is assuring that this select client base receives the guidance and ongoing support they need for their benefits programs. This includes counseling them on plan design and overseeing the annual bid process. It also involves setting clear expectations, perform pre-renewal meetings, execute annual renewals and marketing. Susan will apply industry and marketplace knowledge, employee benefit subject matter, and vendor management for these clients.
Susan came to Borislow Insurance from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where she held a variety of positions over seventeen years. Her inside knowledge of health insurance makes Susan a valued resource to her clients and colleagues alike. She knows what is required to resolve claims issues, and she continually helps Borislow clients with additional programs they may decide to offer to enhance their benefits, such as vision care and short- or long-term disability insurance.

Debbie’s role in the Employee Benefits Department has her managing some of Borislow Insurance's(BI) larger clients, primarily focusing on the larger corporations. She efficiently serves as a liaison between administrators and insurance carriers. Her role includes conducting research, implementing benefit products and providing outstanding service to new and existing BI clients. Debbie’s focus on the intimate particulars with the plan design and renewal process leaves the clients with complete confidence that every detail has been thoroughly covered.
Before joining BI thirteen years ago, Debbie had worked for thirteen years at Delta Dental Plan of Massachusetts, a national dental provider network, where she held positions in sales and customer service. Her prior interaction with BI staff convinced her to join the agency’s Employee Benefits Department.

Marcy serves a client consultant in the Employee Benefits Department. She helps assess their benefit needs and take advantage of the various insurance programs that allow a degree of customization, as well as cost-savings for employer and employee alike.
Marcy joined Borislow Insurance in May 2003. Prior to joining, Marcy spent over three years with another insurance agency, where she was responsible for all new business submissions, retention and administrative functions for life and group benefits clients.
Marcy has earned her Massachusetts Life/Accident & Health license. She continues to expand her industry knowledge by taking continuing education courses. Marcy holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities licenses and is a Registered Representative of Signator Investores, Inc.

Matthew Legere is a client-focused and accomplished professional offering greater than 12 years of experience in the healthcare insurance industry. Matthew joined Borislow Insurance (BI) in May 2011 as a Senior Client Consultant in the Employee Benefits department. Matthew joined BI from Mercer in Boston where he was an Associate consultant for Mid-Market clients in the Employee Benefits Consulting division. Prior to joining Mercer, Matt worked at CIGNA, Aetna, and UnitedHealth Group in a variety of roles including Underwriting, Call/Claims Operations, Marketing/Sales Support, Project Management, and Client/Provider Reporting.

Stephanie Zsittnik is a Senior Client Consultant with Borislow Insurance (BI). She is a results-oriented employee benefits professional, dedicated to developing the most appropriate and cost effective benefit plans for her clients. Stephanie guides clients through the day to day operations of all group-sponsored health and welfare programs. Her responsibilities also include long term plan strategy, as well as planning and negotiating annual renewals.

Jennifer has worked in the insurance industry since 1999. Stacie Jackson

Stacie’s role in the Employee Benefits Department is to assist Borislow Insurance’s (BI) Independent School client base. She will evaluate client needs, provide coverage recommendations and benefit options to the assigned group of clients and assure that all details are followed up.
She came to BI after working 4 years at Genesis Consolidated Services Inc. in Burlington, MA in HR. Stacie started her career in Human Resources working for a manufacturing company and a computer reseller company as well as spending a short time working for a software development company before joining Genesis Consolidated Services. Her HR experience covers an array of core competencies such as; benefits administration, managing relationships at a strategic level, compliance, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, training & development, HRIS technology, project management, and data analysis & reporting.

Karen Kelly is a Registered Nurse and Director of Health and Wellness at Borislow Insurance (BI) with over 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Karen is responsible for management of the BI Healthy Advantage client wellness services and health care management strategy development. She has consulted with over 75 BI wellness clients in the education, healthcare, municipal, manufacturing and retail industries assisting with the design, development, and implementation of employee wellness programs in all market segments.
Five years ago Karen joined the BI Team as a Health Information Consultant and developed the BI Healthy Advantage client wellness program. Prior to joining BI she was the Manager of Medical Management in the Health Care Management division of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as a Clinical Consultant and Data Analyst for the Anthem sales team.
Karen holds a BS in Management from Bentley University and earned her nursing degree from the University of New England. She is a Certified Case Manager and a WELCOA Well Workplace Certified Practitioner. | Melanie joined the Borislow Insurance (BI) team in the fall of 2008. In her role as the BI Wellness Consultant she works closely with the Director of Health & Wellness in the day to day operations of the BI Healthy Advantage wellness department and also works one on one with our clients to create tailored wellness programing. Melanie’s responsibilities include assisting clients with the design, implementation and evaluation of their employee wellness initiatives as well as client health fair planning, meeting coordination, interest survey administration and executive summary reporting. Melanie brings to our clients her first-hand knowledge and experience as our internal employee wellness program lead in which she is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all the BI employee wellness initiatives. She is always looking for new and innovative ways to help our clients develop a culture of health and wellness at the worksite. As a Benefits Analyst, Stacy assists our Group Team and Health Information Consultant by analyzing client demographics, health costs and health care utilization data. Her goal is to identify trends for our clients and the related cost drivers that may impact the future price of benefits. This information is also used to identify possible future interventions and benefit design changes with the ultimate goal of reducing health care costs.
Before she joined the Borislow team, Stacy worked in the Insurance industry for over 5 years. She brought to the Borislow Insurance her extensive life insurance expertise along with individual disability and long-term care knowledge. Amy joined Borislow Insurance (BI) in a newly created position as a Customer Service Administrator and has since taken on the role of Sr. Benefit Analyst of our Independent School client base. In her role Amy works alongside Susan Boisvert and Stacie Jackson to support our clients with answers to any ongoing questions they may have about their Health Benefits plans or Value Added Services. In addition, Amy assists in all phases of client renewals as well as marketing and implementation.

This will include data analysis, drafting client reports, RFP development, marketing analysis and vendor implementation.
Jeff brings (7) seven years of insurance industry experience to Borislow Insurance. Most recently he worked as an Account Manager at an employee benefits firm in Boston. Jeff has worked for a large national life and disability carrier in sales, service and underwriting capacities. Victoria graduated from Old Dominion University with a double major in Finance and Economics after moving around as a “Military Brat”. She hopes to settle down and begin her career here in Massachusetts with BI.

Dean Graziano, J.D. will be working closely with Jennifer & Mark on projects that will support the growth and development of our agency. He will also be working on agency wide strategic initiatives in the Commercial and School Practices.
Dean was the Curriculum Specialist Teacher 6 -12 Social Studies at Somers High School. Dean’s background includes having been a national presenter of the historical inquiry model for which he was a contributing designer for ABC-Clio, a social studies data base company located in Santa Barbara, CA. In addition, Dean was a national award winning educator by the United States Department of Educations’ American Star of Teaching.

Jenna Cargill

As the Compliance Manager, Jenna is a key member of the BI Management Team whose main responsibility is to provide our clients with informed advice that can help resolve their health and welfare benefit related regulatory compliance issues. She brings to Borislow a love of the law and a pragmatic and proactive approach to her compliance practice. Jenna has worked as a regulatory analyst for the state of Massachusetts and a legal consultant at several large law firms in Boston, MA.
She earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of New Hampshire and her J.D. from Northeastern University. She is also a trained mediator and continues to be fascinated by the mediation process. While in law school, Jenna completed co-ops with the US Department of Health and Human Services, The US Attorney's Office, a Federal Magistrate judge, and a small immigration law firm.
